Nanostructures tested as beta-carotene carriers in beverages

  1. I am a 9th grader and I am just learning about the use of nanotechnology in the food industry. I think it is very interesting that nanotechnology can allow us to make a drink that contains beta-carotene and other ingredients not usually found in these drinks. I recently read another article about developing different and more natural flavors as well as being able to change the color of your drink using nanotechnology.It seems like the sky is the limit…but I wonder about research guidance or laws that will protect people from harm.
