new paper out open access Wolbring Gregor, Lillywhite Aspen (2023) Burnout through the Lenses of Equity/Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Disabled People: A Scoping Review Societies 2023, 13(5), 131; https://doi.org/10.3390/soc13050131 We looked here at workplace burnout, activist burnout and life burnout. We looked at the mentioning of burnout phrases such as disability burnout, disablism burnout… As to disabled people the majority coverage was disabled people as the cause of burnout of others. Burnout of disabled activists or people involved in disability related activism was not mentioned once. EDI was also rarely mentioned together with burnout. In general it is interesting how little burnout is used as a consequence of marginalized groups systemic discrimination (that was not the focus of the results but found by doing the background search for terms such as racism burnout)… Cheers Gregor
